104.5 WFMB Jocks

John Spalding

ON THE AIR: Weekday mornings 6am - 10am with John & Andi in the Morning.

I was born in 1962, but I feel like I was born in 1862.  That pretty much sums me up.

Andi Brooks

Weekday mornings 6am - 10am with John & Andi in the Morning.

Andi was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois.  She graduated from Illinois State University where she started in radio and fell in love with country music.  Andi moved back home to Rockford to work in radio, however, she's back to where she came from...country.  She's excited to start this new adventure in her life on 104.5 WFMB.

Amie Meneghetti

ON THE AIR: Weekdays 10am - 3pm it's the Meneghetti Midday.

Hi!  My name is Amie Meneghetti of “Meneghetti Midday” and I am proud to be “home grown” originally from Springfield!

I’ve had many jobs over the years, besides working in radio.  I was president of the Gilbert Godfrey Fan Club for a long time.  I gave that up to work as a ventriloquist and then as a mime.  Funny, it seems people liked me as a mime better than anything else!

When I’m not working I enjoy lots of different hobbies, including watering my collection of chia pets, trying to solve that darn Rubik’s cube and “dumpster diving” for cherished momentos’s!

In the future I’d like to try my hand  at being a professional garlic tester, I want to challenge myself to make it from here to the Grand Canyon while walking on my hands and I really want at least one chance to try out for the Dallas Cheerleaders!

If you or someone you know, ever need help with a non-profit event please contact me!  amie@wfmb.com

Thanks  so much to my wonderful listeners!

Dave Marsh

ON THE AIR: Weekday afternoons 3-7pm for "The Ride Home" with "Live @ 5" and "30 MInutes Commerical-Free."

I’ve been a Springfield resident for going on 14 years now and your afternoon host on “The Ride Home” all that time.  I love it!
I’m a transplanted “Cheesehead”, something I’ll always be proud of.  Love my
Packers, Brewers and Badgers…but I do enjoy a Cardinal game now and then.
When I’m listening to my iPod, I’m listening to
Little Big Town, Zac Brown, Jake Owen, Gary Allan, George Strait and a lot of new music, but I’ll also chill with some classic rock and cool stuff from artists like David Helping and Jon Jenkins, Liquid Mind and AstroPilot.
On the Tube, I’m addicted to Ancient Aliens, Gold Rush, Deadliest Catch and American Pickers, Nashville and a host of others on History, Science and Discovery DIY Channels to name a few.  My DVR is busy.
I love Twitter, so you’ll find me on there a lot.  When I’m not working, I’m doing yard projects when it’s warm out, Riding my Victory or out Fishing somewhere the fish are biting.  You might not know this about me, but I love to make beer and of course consume said beverage…Love the Micros in Springfield and sample local taps wherever I go.  Untapped is a cool app.  You should check it out.

Ed Steele

Weekdays 7pm - Midnight with "Hot Country Nites" and "30 Minutes Commercial Free."

Hot Country Nites is a request and dedication show with "30 Minutes Commercial Free" hourly!
Tell Ed "I got my country on 104.5 WFMB" for a chance to hear yourself on the air and become a bigger part of 104.5 WFMB
Here it is THE Ed Steele bio soon to be made into a documentary (okay maybe not).
Been doing the radio thing for the past 16 years in Jacksonville and decided to mosey on over here to S'field to work for WFMB the country power house in central IL.
I also do voice-over work out my home studio for various radio and tv stations throughout the US.
Just recently started to dabble in internet radio streaming in which I have a few stations streaming various music formats world wide.
Also, looking to move over here from Jacksonville to cut down on the gas expense.

Joe Muench

ON THE AIR: "The Overnight Joe Show" Weeknights Midnight- 6am and Saturdays 10am - 3pm with "30 Minutes Commercial Free."

Hey, Joe Muench here! I’m keepin’ ya’ company thru the wee hours Monday - Friday Midnight – 6 AM and Saturdays 10 AM - 3 PM. I’m a die-hard night owl, so when I got the chance to fill this slot I jumped at it! Definitely having a blast at 104.5 WFMB so far!
There’s a line from the old TV show “WKRP in Cincinnati” that goes, “town to town, up and down the dial”. There ya’ go…wraps up my story. I’ve lived the radio life in Albuquerque, Colorado Springs, Denver, Carlsbad (NM), Tucson, Rapid City (SD), and now the Land Of Lincoln. A (really) long, sometimes strange, trip. I'm a - music, pop culture, cappuccino, Star Trek, Angry Birds, Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, Maxwell the Geico Piggy – junkie. Most of all, I love spending time with my wife, Julianne, son Michael (when he’s home from college), and our “daughter” (puppy) Desi!
Every night on the show we’re gonna chat about all kinds of different topics. You can give me a call at 217-525-WFMB (9362), or join in on Facebook and Twitter.
You can even text me! Just text WFMB and your message and send to 74574. (Message and data rates apply.)  C ya’ on the radio!
