Weekday Mornings 6-10am
I was born in 1962, but I feel like I was born in 1862. That pretty much sums me up. If you want to get a hold of me find me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/johnandmichele or email jmmornings@gmail.com.
Hey, it's Michele. You know, the one who keeps John in line (most of the time) weekday mornings. You can hear John & me 6-10am each day. (And no, I have never gotten used to waking up that early.)
I have one husband, Greg, and one child, Kate. You'll hear me talking about them regularly.
My interests include listening to music, watching movies, reading books, knitting, technology, and playing Words with Friends on my iPhone. I also happen to be a bit obsessed with makeup, and you can read my makeup blog here.
Ashley Blake
Weekdays 10am - 3pm
A little bit about Ashley Blake. I was born in a small town in Pennsylvania. I grew up in a small town in Illinois (Bethalto) and now, live in a small town (Chatham). I have four beautiful daughters who mean the world to me. The girls keep me very busy with cheerleading, musicals, cross country and more! When I do have a spare moment, you can find me shopping or drinking coffee. I always wanted to “own” a coffee shop and hire people to work for me. I have a communications degree from UIS. I love being on the radio! Right now, I have my dream job. I work for the number one radio station in the market, WFMB! I work a perfect shift for a mom, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. I have been a local On Air Personality for 20 years in Springfield, IL.

I've lived in a variety of locations including: LaCrosse, Wi, Rockford, Ill, Colorado Springs, Lincoln, NE and near Madison, WI. I love radio as a career and the contact we have with the artists and you. Here it is THE Ed Steele bio soon to be made into a documentary (okay maybe not). Been doing the radio thing for the past 16 years in Jacksonville and decided to mosey on over here to S'field to work for WFMB the country power house in central IL. I also do voice-over work out my home studio for various radio and tv stations throughout the US. Just recently started to dabble in internet radio streaming in which I have a few stations streaming various music formats world wide. Also, looking to move over here from Jacksonville to cut down on the gas expense.

Hey, Joe Muench here! I’m the new guy keepin’ ya’ company thru the wee hours Monday - Friday Midnight – 6 AM and Saturdays 10 AM - 2 PM. I’m a die-hard night owl, so when I got the chance to fill this slot I jumped at it! Definitely having a blast at 104.5 WFMB so far!
There’s a line from the old TV show “WKRP in Cincinnati” that goes, “town to town, up and down the dial”. There ya’ go…wraps up my story. I’ve lived the radio life in Albuquerque, Colorado Springs, Denver, Carlsbad (NM), Tucson, Rapid City (SD), and now the Land Of Lincoln. A (really) long, sometimes strange, trip. I'm a - music, pop culture, cappuccino, Star Trek, Angry Birds, Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, Maxwell the Geico Piggy – junkie. Most of all, I love spending time with my wife, Julianne, son Michael (when he’s home from college), and our “daughter” (puppy) Desi!
