John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Have You Seen the Rock on Jennifer Aniston's Finger?

Jeff Gordon to Play Himself on "The Simpsons"
Guess who's making a pitstop in Springfield?  Not our Springfield, the Springfield on "The Simpsons."  It's Jeff Gordon.  The NASCAR driver will play himself on the October 21st episode of the show.

"Munsters" Reboot Will Be a One-Time Special Instead of a Series
Looks like there won't be a new "Munsters" TV show after all.  No word on why the series was scrapped, however we will still get to see the pilot episode.  NBC will air it as a Halloween special on October 26th.  The cast includes Jerry O'Connell as Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as Lily, and Eddie Izzard as Grandpa.

36 Bags of Heroin, Marijuana, and a Gun Found on Nelly's Bus
Rapper Nelly is in a bit of trouble.  His tour bus was stopped at a border patrol check point in Texas, and police found heroin, marijuana, and a gun on board.  According to the police, one of the members of Nelly's entourage, Brian Keith Jones, came forward saying the drugs and gun were his.  He was taken into custody.  Everyone else on the bus was sent on their way.

First Look at "Hitchcock"
I'm a HUGE fan of director Alfred Hitchcock, so I'm looking forward to seeing Anthony Hopkins take on the role.  Here's the first look at the trailer for "Hitchcock" which is based on a book about Hitchcock and the relationship with his wife (played by Helen Mirren) and the time period he was filming "Psycho."
