John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Actress Stacy Dash Experiences Backlash Over Romney Support
She should know by now that if you're an actress in Hollywood and a Republican it's better to keep your mouth shut.  But Stacy Dash of "Clueless" decided she would tweet her support for Mitt Romney.  Then the backlash started.  Dash received a tweet saying, "You're an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You're voting against yourself thrice.  You poor beautiful idiot."   Dash says she received a thank you call from Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan, who she said called her "brave."

Debut of "Nashville" Tonight on ABC
It's one of the most anticipated new shows of the fall season.  Tonight Hayden Panettiere and Connie Britton star in the new drama "Nashville."  Catch it at 9pm tonight.  Here's a preview.

Ben Affleck is No Hit-and-Runner!
If only more people were like Ben Affleck.  The actor accidentally side-swiped a car in Santa Monica recently while he was out shopping with his two daughters, and he left a nice note for the owner of the car with his information.  Here's what it said according to Hi, I knocked off your mirror! Very sorry! Will cover everything. - Ben. Now isn't that nice?

"Peanuts" Film in the Works
Most of us have a favorite Peanuts TV special, but now the Peanuts gang is coming to the big screen.  The new animated film featuring Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang is scheduled to hit theaters November 25, 2015.  That times the movie perfectly with the 65th anniversary of the debut of the comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the first TV special, "A Very Charlie Brown Christmas."
