John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Seth McFarlane To Host Oscars
The man behind "Family Guy" and "American Dad" will host the Academy Awards Sunday, February 24th.  Seth McFarlane said he'll do his best, adding, "I hope they don't find out I hosted the Charlie Sheen Roast." 

Drew Barrymore Is A Mommy
Congratulations to Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman.  Last Wednesday they welcomed their first child, Olive Barrymore Kopelman. 

Honey Boo Boo Gets a Big Raise
They were making 5-7 thousand dollars per episode.  Now TMZ is reporting TLC will be paying the family of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" 15-20 thousand dollars per episode. 

Brittany Kerr Shuts Down Twitter After Jason Aldean Backlash
After photos surfaced of a public makeout session with the married Jason Aldean, former "Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr has shut down her Twitter page.  She received thousands of angry comments from Aldean fans calling her a "homewrecker" among other things.  Kerr has issued an apology saying, "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part."  She adds, "I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."
 
Little House on the Prairie Movie
I still watch episodes of "Little House on the Prairie."  I just love that show.  Now, after all these years it could be coming to the big screen.  Sony Pictures is in the early stages of development, according to EW.com.
