John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Emmy Awards Sunday
Sunday night ABC will air the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards with host Jimmy Kimmel.  In the lead with 17 nominations each are "Mad Men" and "American Horror Story."  If "Mad Men" wins the Outstanding Drama Series award it would make history with five wins in the category.

Goodyear Offers Free Driving Lessons to Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan
Clearly someone needs to do something about this problem, and it's great that Goodyear is stepping up.  The tire company has a letter posted online by TMZ offering to fly Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes to Akron, Ohio for private lessons with professional drivers on their test track.  No word from either actress on accepting the offer.

Kelsey Grammer Bails on Piers Morgan
It was an awkward night for Piers Morgan Wednesday.  Kelsey Grammer was scheduled to appear on "Piers Morgan Tonight," but just moments before the show was to start Grammer reportedly bolted when his segment opened with a photo of his ex-wife Camille Grammer.  A rep for Grammer told "The Hollywood Reporter", "Piers needs to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey.  It's called accountability."  Morgan had this to say, "I like Kelsey Grammer personally, but this was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do.  I wasn't even going to mention his ex-wife."
