John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team vs. Springfield Fire & Police Department:
Saturday at Robin Roberts Stadium.
2:00pm Gates Open
2:30pm Celebrity game
3:30pm WWAST vs. Fire Department
6:30pm WWAST vs. Police Department
$10 in advance and $15 at the gate.  There will be a silent auction throughout the game with proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Chad Young.

Music in the Park: Sunday 4-7pm at Comer Cox Park.  Featuring Brooke Thomas & Blue Sons and Kapital Sound.  Free admission.  Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

MacARTFest: Saturday 11am - 4pm at South Grand and MacArthur.  Free admission.  More than 50 artists showing/selling fine arts and fine crafts.  Music throughout the day, hands-on childrens activities.  More info here.
