After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week. Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet.
Congratulations to Joe Nichols & Wife

Willy Wonka's Lickable Wallpaper a Reality
If you're a fan of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" you certainly remember the lickable wallpaper Wonka had in his factory. Now it's not just in the movies. The Daily Mail reports there's a building in London that has lickable walls in the elevator where the walls are covered with 1,325 flavored stickers. They all taste like Jaffa Cake (and orange-flavored, chocolate-covered cake). But how do you keep from licking a sticker someone else has already licked? There's an attendant in the elevator at all times who removes the stickers after they are licked.
Ted Nugent Meeting with Secret Service Today
Notorious loud mouth rocker Ted Nugent will get to chat with President Obama's security detail today over some remarks Nugent made at the recent NRA convention. Nugent told the audience that the President and other administration officials were criminals and that "we need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November." He also said he would either be dead or in jail by this time next year if the president was re-elected. Nugent then defended his comments in an interview and said he was like "a black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally."
