John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Judges Use Their Save on "Idol"
It was a strange night on "American Idol" last night when arguably the three best contestants ended up in the bottom three and in danger of going home.  Then there was utter shock when Jessica Sanchez, a favorite throughout the season, was named as the lowest vote-getter.  Sanchez didn't even finish her song before the judges ran on stage to tell her she wouldn't be going home because they were going to use their one "save" of the season to bring her back next week.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction This Weekend
The class of 2012 will be inducted in Cleveland this weekend including Donovan, Beastie Boys, and Guns N' Roses.  Several members of Guns N' Roses will attend, however lead singer Axl Rose will not.  He has also refused to be inducted.   The induction ceremony will be taped for an HBO special to debut May 5th.

Harry Potter Author Reveals Details of New Book
After writing seven Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling has announced a title and a release date for her new, non-Harry Potter novel.  It will be called "The Casual Vacancy," and it will be out September 27th.  The story will be set in an English town where things are not as idyllic as they seem on the surface.
