Now a little more about us... John Spalding...is a radio veteran. He's been in the business for over 30 years, and he's still going strong. John's an avid golfer, a fan of the White Sox, and he loves bluegrass music along with the country he plays every day.
Michele MItchell...is originally from St. Louis, so she still has some of that "big city" attitude leftover. She lives in Springfield with her husband Greg and daughter Kate and loves to do all kinds of crafty things like cardmaking, knitting, sewing, etc.

J-Lo an "Idol" Judge? There were rumors Jennifer Lopez was going to be a judge on "American Idol". Then the rumors said the ngeotiations were over and it wasn't going to happen. Now word from TMZ is that "Idol" producers and Lopez are very close to a deal. The new season of "American Idol" starts in January.
Paris Hilton May Be Done In By Twitpic Remember last Friday when Paris Hilton got arrested for posession of cocaine? It fell out of her purse, but she denies it was her purse. Now a photo she uploaded via Twitpic may come into play. July 15th Hilton shared a photo of an identical purse with the caption "Love my new Chanel purse I got today."
A Cookbook By a Man Who Can't Eat....Interesting Angle Roger Ebert, the famous film critic, had his lower jaw removed a few years ago due to cancer. Now he's not able to speak or eat, but that doesn't mean he can't put out a cookbook! This month "The Pot and How to Use It: The Mystery and Romance of the Rice Cooker" hits stores.
Steve Carell's "Office" Replacement E! Online is reporting that when Steve Carell leaves "The Office" his replacement may be Harvey Keitel. The executive producer of the show, Paul Lieberstein says Keitel is "probably the only guy who can do it."
Paris Hilton Banned After her arrest for posession of cocaine on Friday night, Paris Hilton has been banned from the Wynn and Encore resorts. Her boyfriend, who was a night club excec, was fired from Wynn Las Vegas.
Conan Has a Name for His New Show Conan O'Brien's new shows premiers Novmeber 8th on TBS, and now it has a name. Yesterday O'Brien announced it will be called "Conan".
Catherine Zeta-Jones Speaking About Husband's Cancer Earlier in the week Michael Douglas spoke about his fight against throat cancer on David Letterman. Now his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, is speaking about this situation. She tells "People" magazine she's angry that the doctors didn't find the cancer sooner. She says Douglas spent months going to doctors and looking for the reason for his throat and ear pain but didn't get any answers until August.
These People COULD HAVE Been Dancing With The Stars Monday the season 11 cast of "Dancing with the Stars" was announced, but even more interesting is the list of people who COULD have bene on the show had they accepted the offer. Hollywoodreporter.com says the following people were offered the gig but turned it down: billionaire Richard Branson, Condoleeza Rice, Sylvester Stallone, and Anne Coulter. Some of the other celebrities that were on the wish list included Tim Allen, Suzanne Somers, and Erin Brokovich.
The Housewives Are Dropping Like Flies If you watch "Real Housewives of New York" it's going to look quite different next season. Only one original housewife will be a part of season four. Bethany Frankel has announced she's leaving the show after three seasons. Frankel commented, "Last season was scary and painful. It took all the joy out of it." Season four will start filming September 20th.
"America's Got Talent" Is Sticking Around a While Longer There will be a sixth season of "America's Got Talent". After being the higest rated show of the summer in its fifth season, NBC has given the green light for a sixth.

Great Ratings for Emmy Awards Sunday's award show was the best ratings for the Emmys since 2006. Over 13-million people tuned in. There are a few reasons some way the ratings were up. It was the first time since 1976 the show was aired live coast-to-coast. It was also the first time since 2006 the show wasn't up against "Sunday Night Football".

Paris Hilton Charged with a Felony Paris Hilton's Friday night out with her boyfriend could cost her a jail sentence of up to four years. Hilton has been charged with posession of a controlled sustance. She could get parole, and she could get 1-4 years.
Friday Was a Bad Night for Starlets It only took two days out of rehab for Lindsay Lohan to have a run-in with police. Friday Lohan was pulled over after running a stop sign. Lucky for her she was let go with only a warning.
CMA Nominations Some of the CMA nominees were announced this morning at the Ryman Auditorium. Chris Young, Steel Magnolia, and Justin Moore were on hand to do the honors. "Modern Family" Cleans Up at the Emmys It was a big night for "Modern Family" at the Emmy Awards. In its first year, the comedy picked up Outstanding Comedy, Outstanding Comedy Writing, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Eric Stonestreet. "Glee" picked up a couple of awards including for directing and Outstanding Supporting Actress for Jane Lynch. No surprise that "Mad Men" won for the third consecutive year for Outstanding Drama.
Paris Hilton Busted for Cocaine It wasn't a fun Friday night for Paris Hilton. She and her boyfriend were in Las Vegas when they were pulled over by a police officer who said he smelled marijuana coming from their car. When Paris reached into her purse for lip balm, drugs reportedly fell out in front of the officer. She was released on her own recognizance while her boyfriend was arrested for DUI and released on $2000 bail.
Levi Johnston Says He Lied About Lying Levi Johnston. Gotta love him...or not. Sarah Palin's almost son-in-law now says he wishes he never apologized to the Palin family for lying about them. (Back when he was briefly engagement to his baby momma, Bristol.) Now Johnston says he regrets putting the apology out, because it made him sound like a liar, and he didn't lie. So is he lying now? Or was he lying then?
