John’s a radio veteran, with over 30 years in the business, and a strong appreciation for ‘real’ country music. Taylor was born ten years after John hit the airwaves, with a background in pop radio, and a deep appreciation for reality television.
The one thing they do have in common is a love for their hometown of Springfield.
Springfield native, Taylor recently made the switch to country radio after 7 years at sister station, 99-7 the MIX. She is so “Springfield,” in fact, she is actually a relative of Mary Todd Lincoln (seriously!) Someday, she hopes to live on a farm, raise a whole bunch of dogs & cats, while also owning & operating a clothing boutique, a houseboat in Florida, and a long-running successful morning radio show.
John is a lifelong resident of central Illinois with stops in Springfield, Dawson and currently New Berlin. He is also a lifelong resident of Neuhoff Media Springfield, starting in 1979 on WCVS and moving across the hall to 104.5 WFMB in 1984. John loves collecting feral cats and Mrs. Sue (not a feral cat).
