Yesterday, I ate at Firefly Grill in Effingham. It is right off the main drag, hidden from traffic. I can't say enough about the place.
First of all, they had Ranger IPA on TAP! I had never seen that before! They also have some other unique beers on tap, as well.
The place has a cozy, but modern feel to it. The chefs use local produce and livestock, when available.
I opted for the BBQ grilled chicken breast. It was really tasty.
Lunch is moderately priced, but dinner can be a bit expensive on a radio man's budget.
There's a pond in the back with a fountain. It is stocked with koi, bluegill, and I'm pretty certain there were catfish, too! A very nice outdoor setting!
