John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Weekend Marquee and E Buzz for February 15, 2013

Behind the Hits: Songwriters for St. Jude: Friday at 7pm at Boondocks.  Doors open at 6pm.  Tickets are general admission at $15 and available the door and at  Three Nashville songwriters will take the stage and share the stories behind their hit songs.  A portion of the proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  For this show only all ages are welcome with a parent or guardian.  For more details click here.

Branglina Launching Their Own Line of Wine
They've collaborated on several children, and now they'll collaborate on wine.  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are working with a French winemaker to produce a rose and white wines.  The couple's French estate has about 148 acres of vines.  
LeAnn Rimes Sues Her Dentist
More drama for Leann Rimes.  Does it ever end?  Now the singer has filed a lawsuit against her dentist.  She says Dr. Duane McKay has caused all kind of mouth problems for her by misdiagnosing her problems.  Rimes also claims the problems have "compromised" her ability to perform, and she's seeking general damages, money for medical expenses, and "emotional and psychiatric injuries" and money for loss of wages.

Maggie Smith Says She's Never Watching "Downtown Abbey"
She's won two Emmys and a Golden Globe for her performance as Lady Violet Crawley on "Downtown Abbey," but Maggie Smith has never seen the show.  In a "60 Minutes" interview airing Sunday, Smith explains she's very critical of her performances.  The season 3 finale of "Downtown Abbey" is Sunday on PBS.
