John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

If you've watched "Walking Dead" this season, you know no character is safe.  Anyone can be killed off at any time, and according to Lauren Cohan who plays Maggie, there's more to come.  She says on NBCNews.com, "You are definitely going to see some major losses, if you can believe it.  Some huge lives are going to be thrown into question."  The show takes a break after the December 2nd episode and returns in February.

Actress Who Voiced Smurfette Dies
While Katy Perry was the voice of Smurfette in the 2011 film about the little blue people, the original Smurfette in the 1980's TV show was voiced by Lucille Bliss.  Bliss has died of natural causes at the age of 96.  She also voiced Cinderella stepsister Anastasia in the Disney classic and was even the voice of the original Elroy in "The Jetsons."  However, in an interesting story, she lost that job because she wouldn't work under a stage name to cover the fact that a woman was voicing a boy character.

"American Horror Story" Will Return for a 3rd Season
Good news, there will be more "American Horror Story."  FX has picked it up for a third season.  According to NBCNews.com Jessica Lange will return for the third season in a new role, and the season will have 13 episodes.
