John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Are Saturday
Soon-to-be dad Josh Duhamel is hosting the show, and someone will end up getting covered in green slime.  Kesha, Pitbull, and Christina Aguilera are set to perform, and presenters include Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Kaley Cuoco, and more.  The show starts at 7pm Saturday on Nickelodeon.

Jodi Arias Movie in the Works
It doesn't surprise me that there's a movie based on Jodi Arias who is currently on trial for murder.  What surprises me is that Lifetime is developing the movie instead of HLN.  (These days it's practically Jodi Arias all the time on HLN.)  Lifetime has had a good success making movies from current events in the courts.  In January "Prosecuting Casey Anthony" aired starring Rob Lowe.  Lowe also starred as Drew Peterson in "Drew Peterson: Untouchable."  So don't be surprised if Lowe shows up in this one too.

Matthew McConaughey Defends Lance Armstrong
Since his big interview with Oprah Winfrey Lance Armstrong has been mostly out of the headlines.  Now Matthew McConaughey is talking about his friend Lance Armstrong in the new Details magazine saying, "He told a lie, he's not a liar."  Hmmmm, I beg to differ.

Bob Newhart Will Guest On "Big Bang Theory"
Many times the guest stars on "Big Bang Theory" come from the world of science of sci-fi movies and TV shows, but in May the show welcomes comedy legend Bob Newhart to the show.  According to producers of the show Newhart will play Professor Proton who hosted a science show that Sheldon and Leonard loved when they were kids.  The show will air May 2nd.
