Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Weekend Marquee/E Buzz for March 15, 2013

The Ugly Duckling & the Tortoise and the Hare: Friday at 7:00pm at Sangamon Auditorium.  It's the part of the Family Series sponsored by 104.5 WFMB.  There are free activities in the lobby starting at 6:00pm.  Tickets available at 217-206-6160 or at www.sangamonauditorium.org

LoCash Cowboys & Exit 52: Friday at 8:00pm at Boondocks.  Tickets are $15 and are available at www.showclix.com or at the door.

Springfield St. Patrick's Day Marching Band Parade: Saturday at noon in downtown Springfield.  Parade starts at 6th and Jefferson then travels west on Jefferson to 5th Street, south on 5th to Capitol Ave, east on Capitol to 6th and north on 6th to Washington Street.  It's free to attend the parade, but if you want to drink alcohol on the street, you'll have to purchase a wristband for $1 from one of the bars.  No coolers are allowed this year.  There's an alcohol-free zone on 6th Street between Washington and Adams.

Jacksonville St. Patrick's Day Parade: Saturday at 11am starting at East State Street.  The parade travels around Central Park Plaza before ending on Morgan Street.

Brushfire: Saturday at 8:00pm at Boondocks.  $7 cover at the door gets you into the show. 

New Berlin's 46th Annual Art Fair: At the Sangamon County Fairgrounds Saturday 8am - Noon, Sunday Noon - 4pm, and Monday 8am - 2:30p.  Featuring artwork by junior high and high school students.  Free admission.

America has chosen its first top ten contestant to go home.  Curtis had the lowest number of votes, and the judges didn't want to use their one judges "save," so it was so long to Curtis. But before he was booted Bon Jovi and last season winner, Phillip Phillips, performed.

If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod you can now stream full episodes of CBS shows with their newly-launched free app.  No, you won't be able to watch "Big Bang Theory" the same night it airs on TV....primetime programs won't be available until 8 days after their initial broadcast.  Daytime and latenight programs will be available 24 hours after they air.   CBS plans to roll out the apps for other platforms later this year.
