After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Paula Deen Book Sales Rocket to the Top 5
It's not all bad news for Paula Deen this week. While Walmart announced Thursday that they would be no longer carry Paula Deen products in their stores, there was some good news too. Deen's new cookbook, "Paula Deen's New Testament: "250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up," is getting all kinds of pre-orders. It doesn't come out until October 15th, but it's in the top 5 on Amazon's Best Sellers list Wednesday.
Neil Diamond's Boston Tribute Song Out Next Week
In the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, one of the most inspirational moments came when Neil Diamond led the crowd at Fenway Park in a rendition of "Sweet Caroline." Diamond said he was inspired to write a new song, and July 2nd you'll be able to get it via iTunes and Amazon. Diamond will also perform the song during a couple of July 4th performances. The best part is, the entire purchase price of "Freedom Song" during the first year will be split between One Fund Boston and Wounded Warriors Project.
James Gandolfini Funeral Today
Thousands are expected to surround The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine this morning in New York City. Funeral mass for the late James Gandolfini will be held. The 51-year-old died last week in Italy while vacationing.
"X Factor" To Return in September
The third season of "X Factor" premieres Wednesday, September 11th on Fox. Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato return as judges with newbies Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio.
"All My Children" and "One Life to Live" Returning To TV...for a While
Here's how it went down...ABC canceled "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" back in 2011. A company called Prospect Park picked them up and started airing them online this year. Now Oprah's network is going to air them on TV. Starting July 15th for a "ten-week limited engagement" OWN will air the shows that have been airing online only.
