First "Duets" Winner Crowned
J Rome wins the inaugural season of "Duets," and he gets a contract with Hollywood Records. Apparently Jennifer Nettles is good at picking talent. Her two duet partners came in first and second place.
Fred Willard Arrest "A Big Misunderstanding"
I just love Fred Willard, so I was totally bummed when this story showed up on my radar yesterday. The actor, known for his work in "Best in Show" and "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," was arrested Wednesday night on a lewd conduct charge at an adult theater. Willard says what police thought they saw "didn't happen" and it's all be ironed out with his lawyers. Word is Willard has already been fired from his role on the new PBS show "Market Warriors" and that PBS has instructed its affiliates not to air any unaired episodes featuring Willard. Willard is also the host of a new ABC improv show called "Trust Us With Your Life."
Katie Holmes Headed to Broadway
The ex-Mrs. Tom Cruise will be on Broadway soon. Katie Holmes will star in a new play called "Dead Accountants" this fall. It's her first time on Broadway in four years.
Barbara Walters Turns Down Interview with George Zimmerman
Barbara Walters told "The View" audience she turned down and interview with accused murderer George Zimmerman. Walters said she had traveled to Florida to interview him, however she turned down the interview with Zimmerman told her he would only do it if ABC News put him up in a New York City hotel for a month. Walters describes Zimmerman as "desperate for money" and "very worried about his family."
