Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Illinois State Fair Corn Dog Kickoff - Saturday 5pm - 8:30pm at the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.  This is a fundraiser for the Illinois State Fair Museum Organization.  There will be a silent and live auction with over 100 items donated.  Tickets are $40 in advance, $50 at the door.  Call 415-4408 for more information.

Movie in the Park: Friday at Rochester Community Park.  Featured film is "The Smurfs."  This event is free.  www.rochesteril.org

Roller Derby - Saturday at 6:00pm at Skateland South it's Women's Flat-Track Roller Derby with Springfield vs. Decatur.  Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.  A portion of the proceeds will go to the Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery.

Steven Tyler AND Jennifer Lopez Leaving "Idol"
Thursday Steven Tyler announced he will not be returning to "American Idol."  Friday, Jennifer Lopez followed suit.  Lopez told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Friday, "I could just keep doing 'Idol' for the rest of my life, but that would be giving up a bunch of other things.  I feel like we had an amazing run."  It's rumored the final judge, Randy Jackson, may also be leaving the show.  However, no news on that front yet.

Mariah Carey On List of Potential "Idol" Judges
Steven Tyler is out, and Jennifer Lopez told "Today" this week that she's unsure about coming back.  Now "Us Magazine" is reporting that Randy Jackson may also exit the show and is trying to get Mariah Carey on as a judge.  Jackson is Carey's manager. 

Taylor Swift Makes More Money Than Justin Bieber
"Forbes" has issued their list of highest paid celebs under 30.  Number was Taylor Swift who they estimate brought in $57-million from May 2011 - May 2012.  Justin Bieber was close behind with $55-million.  The rest of the top 5 went like this: Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.

Dish Network Customers Will Get to See "Breaking Bad" Season Premiere
If you have Dish Network here's a little good news for you.  Even though you can't get AMC, the channel will stream the fifth season premiere of "Breaking Bad" for free Sunday night to Dish Network subscribers.  You'll be able to register for access beginning this afternoon.
