John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

John Mayer Admits He's a Jerk
He's got a bad reputation with the ladies, but that may be changing for John Mayer.  In a new interview on "CBS Sunday Morning" he talks about his past behavior saying, "I was just a jerk."  Mayer, who is now dating Katy Perry, was not allowed to sing for 10 months last year due to vocal chord surgery.  See the full interview Sunday at 8am.

Jay Cutler and Kristen Cavallari Got Engaged Via Text
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler now has a son and a fiance.  His betrothed, Kristen Cavallari, shares with "People" that their decision to tie the knot wasn't so very romantic.  According to Cavallari Cutler texted her the proposal, and mailed her the engagement ring.  Doesn't it just make your heart sing?

Movie Critic Rips Actress's Body Instead of the Film
Rex Reed has been critiquing films for years, but his new review of "Identity Thief" is getting him some critiques of his own.  In his review for the "New York Observer" he really doesn't like the new film starring Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman.  But instead of saying what he doesn't like about the movie, he ripped on McCarthy's size calling her "tractor-sized" and a "hippo" in his review.

Grammys are Sunday
It's the biggest night in music Sunday night on CBS.  Last year it was all about Adele, and this year it isn't so clear who will dominate the awards...if anyone.  Frank Ocean is the top nominee heading into the awards.  There will be a number of unlikely performance mashups during the show including Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Sting,  Elton John and Ed Sheeran, and Alicia Keys and Maroon 5.
