John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Christmas Caroling at the Carillon: Sunday at 4:30pm at Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon in Washington Park. Sing Christmas carols with the bells of the carillon in front of a bonfire. Afterwards cookies and cocoa.

"Lincoln" Leads the Golden Globe Nominations
Thursday the nominees were announced for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. "Lincoln" received seven nods including biggies like Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director for Steven Spielberg, and Best Actor for Daniel Day Lewis. On the TV side, the nominees for Best TV Drama are "Breaking Bad," "Boardwalk Empire," "Downton Abbey," "Homeland," and "The Newsroom." In the Best TV Comedy or Musical category: "Big Bang Theory," "Episodes," "Girls," "Modern Family," and "Smash" were all nominated. The awards will be held Sunday January 13th on NBC and hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
L.A. Reid Not Returning to "X Factor"
Looks like it will be two seasons and done for L.A. Reid. In a statement to "The Hollywood Reporter" Reid says he is honored to have been a part of the show but he needs to get back to "his core business." He's talking about being CEO of Epic Records.
The two-part season finale of "X Factor" is Wednesday and Thursday on Fox.
