There are so many wonderful things about being a parent. One is being able to see things for the first time through your

child's eyes. This happened Sunday when we got some snow here in Springfield.
Kate really wanted to go out in the snow, and this would be her first time. It was super cold outside, so I had to bundle her up pretty good. She had on two pairs of pants, two pairs of socks, three shirts, boots, a coat, mittens, a hat, and a hood. She was all set to go.
Boy did she love the snow. She loved stomping in it, running through it, kicking it, throwing it up in the air, and even eating it. The cold wind didn't seem to bother her at all. In fact, she didn't want to go back inside.
I think a love affair has begun.
