Girl-a-Thon: Sunday at the Fieldhouse at Sangamon and Dirksen behind King Pin Lanes. The event starts at 1pm and will raise money to benefit breast cancer awareness. This a family-friendly event with singers and musicians of all ages coming together. They have one thing in common...they're female. All genders welcome to enjoy the show! $2 donation at the door with a raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing as well.

Haunted Houses
40th Annual Springfield Jaycee's Haunted House: Located at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Open Friday and Saturday 6:30pm - 11pm. Admission is $6 at the door, $5 in advance at Sunrise Cafe, Recycled Records, and Qik n Ez locations. Kids days are Saturday and Sunday Noon - 3pm. Kids are $3 and accompanying adult is $1.

Remember Lee DeWyze? Okay let me remind you. He was last season's winner of "American Idol". Now do you remember? Well, I tried. DeWyze finally has his debut album coming out November 16th. It's called "Living It Up". The runner-up, Crystal Bowersox, also has an album coming out before the end of the year according to reports.

Pepe's Getting His Own Movie
Everyone's favorite animated skunk will be coming to the big screen, and he'll be voiced by Mike Myers. Warner Brothers is developing the film that would feature Pepe Le Pew and the object of his affection in animated form. Everyone else would be real.
