John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

The Weekend Marquee for October 15, 2010

Classically Scared: Friday at the Vahel Lindsay Home with performers reading from suspenseful stories and poems set to sounds and sights of All Hallows season.  Hot chocolate and cookies served by lantern light in the back garden.  Free admission, but reservations needed.  Call 524-0901.

Haunted Houses
Carter's Haunted Hayrides: Friday and Saturday 7pm - 11pm.  $8 for the Haunted Hayride and $5 for the Hall of Terror.

Springfield Jaycees Haunted House: Friday - Ssaturday 6:40pm - 11pm at the Illinois State Fair grandstand.  Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.  Advance tickets available at Recycled Records, Sundrise Cafe, and Qik n EZ locations.  Kid friendly hours are Saturday and Sunday 12-3pm.  $3 for kids, and $1 for adults.

Auburn Haunted House: Friday at 7pm and Saturday 6pm until tickets are sold out in the basement of the Auburn Masonic Lodge.  $7 admission.

Boo Crew Haunted House: Friday - Sunday at 6500 Jett Road, 4 miles southeast of Rochester.  Box office opens at 6:30pm.  $8 for adults and $6 for children 10 and younger.  Speed pass is $13.

Terror on the Square: Friday and Saturday 7-11pm and Sunday 7-10pm on Petersburg square.  Aduts $8 and children 10 and under $7.  $15 for a terror pass to front of the line.

What do you get when three idiots start talking politics?  Apparently you get a walk-out on TV.  That's what happened yesterday morning on the "The View" when Bill O'Reilly was a guest on the show.  Watch for yourself...

Lindsay's Soda Escape Never Happened?
Lindsay Lohan's lawyer says his client never tried to escape rehab for soda.  He says the TMZ story was completely untrue.  In fact he says his client has received a "glowing report on her progress".

Taylor Swift Songs on "Glee"
Madonna and Britney have done it, so why not Taylor Swift?  The singer-songwriter confirms that there have been conversations about using her songs on the hit show.  She tells that it really comes down to scheduling.
