The E Buzz for November 5, 2010 Engagements Hopefully Nick Lachey's second go around will turn out better than the first. The ex-husband of Jessica Simpson is heading down the aisle again. This time with long-time girlfriend Vanessa Mannillo. A source tells "People" that Lachey popped the question Thursday , They aren't the only ones engaged, but they are the only ones admitting it. E! News is citing an unnamed source who says LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are engaged. No confirmation yet from Rimes or Cibrian.
No Plug Zone on "Conan" Conan O'Brien's new show, "Conan", starts Monday, and it looks like it will differ from the other late night shows by more than the host. In an interview with "Playboy" Conan says the show is going to be more about the gab than the glamour. He said, "No actors, no actresses... I want to talk to people who are good at a craft, people who work with their hands." Does that mean he'd turn down an appearance by an A-lister like Tom Hanks? No, but Conan says they won't be allowed to plug their projects. O'Brien joked that if they violate the "no plug" rule they should have to compensate the audience somehow.
David Cassiday DUI Arrest Last night former teen idol David Cassidy was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Florida. A state trooper pulled him over after noticing his car weaving on the road. The arrest report says his blood alcohol level was .14, well above the legal limit. Police also found a half-empty bottle of bourbon under the seat. Cassidy's rep says the star disputes the test results and will fight the charge.
