John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Lauren Alaina Flubs the National Anthem
It was a rough Thanksgiving for Lauren Alaina.  The "American Idol" runner-up had a little trouble with the National Anthem at the Detroit Lions/Green Bay Packers game.  She later tweeted she's "not a robot" but has "no excuses" and simply "messed up."

NBC Apologizes to Michele Bachman
Presidential candidate Michele Bachman made an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" but not without controversey.  When Bachman made her appearance the show's bad played a long called "Lyin' A** B*****" minus the lyrics.  Bachman said playing the song was sexism and "wouldn't be tolerated if it was Michelle Obama and shouldn't be tolerated for a conservative woman, either."  Fallon earlier apologizes, and Bachman said he was remorseful and called him a "class act."

The Parade of "Live!" Guest Hosts Continues
Regis is gone, and no permanent host has been named, so Kelly Ripa's got some pretty incredible guest hosts coming up.  First it was Seinfeld, and now the show has announced Josh Groban, Jonah Hill, Neil Patrick Harris, Jerry O'Connel, Jane Lynch, and Derek Hough of DWTS will all guest host on upcoming shows.
