After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week. Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet.
Could Discovery Woo "Deadliest Catch" Captains Back? It was announced last week that three captains would not be returning for season 7 of "Deadliest Catch": Sig Hansen and Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand. Now as production for the new season draws near (next week), EW.com is reporting Discovery may try to get the captains back on the show. The network is not commenting.
"Lord of the Rings" Director Will Direct "The Hobbit" After much speculation, Deadline is reporting that Peter Jackson will direct both installments of "The Hobbit". Deadline also reports the films will be released in December of 2012 and 2013 while the New York Times says the films will be shot in 3D.
Lisa Rinna Gets Lips Reduced Yahoo! Lisa Rinna finally came to her senses, and went under the knife for the right reasons. She recently had surgery to remove the filler that made her lips look large, bumpy, and unnatural. In related news, Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin have a new reality show, and it seems they're doing a very good job promoting it. The couple was on "Today" promoting the show yesterday when Hamlin received a phone call that the store they own in California was being robbed. Real or publicity? You decide.
Conan Channels Paris Hilton in New Ad Conan is promoting his new show, "Conan", with a new ad that we've seen before...sort of. Remember that ad for Carls Jr. with Paris Hilton washing a car? Conan's is a parody of that ad.
