John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

The Social Network Slays the Competition
No other movie was even in striking distance at the box office this weekend.  It was all about "The Social Network" as it pulled in $23-million.  In a distant second it was "Legend of the Guardians" with $10.8-million.  In third it was "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" with $10.1-million.  Michele saw it over the weekend and loved it...
"Excellent film!  Don't avoid this movie if you're not on Facebook, because whether you're on Facebook or not doesn't matter.  It's a movie about friendship, betrayal, greed, and to a certain extent, personal privacy in  this day and age." - Michele

Another Fall Show Gets Axed
First it was FOX's "Lone Star", and now it's ABC's "My Generation".  After airing only two episodes, the show about generation Y has been cancelled due to low ratings.

Could The Boss Be on "Glee?
People.com is reporting Bruce Springsteen will make a cameo on "Glee" this season.  Their insiders say he will play Finn's uncle in an episode that will include the kids singing their versions of "Born in the USA", "Born to Run", and "Dancing in the Dark.  There may even be a couple of duets.
