John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Discovery Works Things About with Captains of "Deadliest Catch"
They threatened to leave, but it looks like they've worked things out.  The three captains from "Deadliest Catch", Sig Hansen and Johnathan and Andy Hillstand, WILL be returning to the show next season.  The Hillstand's were being sued by the network over a spin-off show, but they've worked things out and will be a part of the action when they start filming the next season.

No 3-D for Harry Potter
It was widely reported that the last two movies in the Harry Potter franchise would be released in 3-D.  Now Warner Brothers says it won't happen...at least for "Deathly Hallows: Part 1".  They weren't going to be able to convert the film before the scheduled release date in November.  Rather than move the release date back they decided to scrap the 3-D.  However, "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" will be released in 3-D.

"The Social Network" Remains at Number One
It's was another good weekend for "The Social Network" at the box office.  The film about the founding of Facebook pulled in another $15.5-million.  New releases "Live As We Know It" and "Secretariat" didn't have enough to unseat "The Social Network" coming in at number two and three respectively.
