John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian Do First Interview
Last night on "In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts", country music stars were profiled.  For the first time, LeAnn Rimes talked about the affair that ended both their marriages.  In the interview Rimes said while she cheated, that's not who she is and that she never intended to hurt anyone. 

First Chilean Miner Interview
Tonight David Letterman will welcome rescued Chilean miner Edison Peno to his show.  Pena was dubbed "the runner" because he would run up to six miles per day underground to keep in shape.  After hearing Pena's story, the New York Road Runners invited him to run in the 2010 New York City Marathon.  Pena accepted and will run on Sunday.

MGM Files for Bankruptcy
The studio that owns the James Bond franchise and produced the classic film "The Wizard of Oz" has filed for bankruptcy.  Execs say they expect a judge to approve their restructuring in about 30 days and that they expect to raise $500-million after emerging from bankruptcy to fund their operations.

Real World Cast Members Wins Congressional Seat
Some of you may remember the sixth season of Real World set in Boston in 1997.  Sean Duffy was a cast member who eventually married another Real World cast member, Rachel from the  San Francisco season.  The two have six children, and Tuesday Sean has been elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Wisconsin.
