Saw 3D Kills the Competition
Over the Halloween weekend it was "Saw 3D" coming out on top at the box office with $24.2-million. "Paranormal Activity 2" and "Red" came in second and third respectively.
"Gay" To Remain in Film, Says Ron Howard
In Janary "Dilemma", a movie directed by Ron Howard, will hit theaters. Howard says it will include the line in which Vince Vaughn uses the word "gay" disparagingly in talking about electric cars. He told the Los Angeles Times, "It's a slight moment in 'The Dilemma' meant to demonstrate an aspect of our lead character's personality, and we never expected it to represent our intention or the point of view of the movie or those of us who made it." While the line will be included in the film, it was removed from the trailer by Universal Studios when groups protested.
Celine Dion Reveals Another Baby
Celine Dion and her newborn twins went home Wednesday, but E! News reports the singer was originally pregnant with triplets. In an interview with a Candadian TV station, Dion admitted that shortly after she found out she conceived, the heartbeat of the third fetus stopped. Also in the interview it was revealed the children will be named Nelson and Eddy after Nelson Mandela and a French songwriter named Eddy Marnay who helped Dion early in her career.
