John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Paula Abdul Officialy Joins "X Factor"
We knew it was coming, but now it's official.  Paula Abdul will be a judge on Simon Cowell's new show, "X Factor."  She said of reuniting with Cowell, "It will have been three years since we sat next to each other.  It's awkward and wonderful at the same time."  The show debuts in September on FOX.

"Thor" Knocks "Fast Five" Out of the Top Spot
It was a good sized box office weekend.  "Thor" earned $66-million in its debut weekend, while "Fast Five" came in second but still pulled in $32.5-million.  The rest of the top 5 looks like this: "Jumping the Broom," "Something Borrowed," "Rio."

It's Down to the Final Four on "Celebrity Apprentice"
Donald Trump went a little crazy on "Celebrity Apprentice" last night as three contestants were let go on the show.  Trump got rid of NeNe Leakes, LaToya Jackson (again), and Star Jones.  That leaves Jon Rich, Marlee Matlin, Meatloaf, and Lil Jon.  In the next episode past winners Joan Rivers and Piers Morgan will help Trump pick his final two.

Lady Gaga Will Mentor "Idol" Contestants
Coming up Wednesday night the final four "American Idol" contestants will be mentored by the meat queen herself, Lady Gaga. 

Paul McCartney WILL Have a Prenup This Time
He's getting married again.  Sir Paul McCartney is engaged, according to what sources tell People.com.  He's engaged to his girlfriend of four years, a businesswoman named Nancy Shevell.  No details on a wedding yet.
