John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

"60 Minutes" Nabs First Obama Osama Interview
Looks like Oprah was just a few days late.  "60 Minutes" has managed to get the first post-Osama Bin Laden-killing interview with President Obama.  CBS confirmed that the segment will air on Sunday, while the interview will take place on Wednesday at the White House.

Only Five Remain on DWTS
Another contestant was booted last night on "Dancing with the Stars."  This time it was Kendra Wilkinson.  That means five contestants remain: Kirstie Alley, Romeo Miller, Hines Ward, Ralph Macchio, and Chelsea Kane.

MTV Movie Awards Nominations Favor "Twilight"
"Twilight's" latest installment, "Eclipse," is the big nominee for the MTV Movie Awards.  The film picked up eight nods followed by seven for "Inception."  The awards will be handed out June 5th.

Actor Lorenzo Lamas, you may remember him from "Falcon Crest," got married for the fifth time over the weekend.  Now he's doing something a bit unusual.  His wife's name is Shawna Craig, and Lamas has announced he's going to change his name to Lorenzo Lamas-Craig.

Katie Couric's Replacement Announced
Scott Pelley has been announced as the new anchor of the "CBS Evening News."  He'll take over for Katie Couric on June 6th.
