You can hear us weekdays 6am - 10am on 104.5 WFMB in Springfield. John Spalding...has been on the radio in Springfield for over 30 years. John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Kim Kardashian Is Engaged
Her sister married an NBA guy, and so far it's worked out for her. Kim Kardashian is now following in her sister Khole's footsteps. She's engaged to Kris Humphries, and he sealed the deal with a 20.5-carat diamond engagement ring. No word on a wedding date yet. This will be the first marriage for Humphries, and the second for Kardashian.
Scotty McCreery Named Season 10 American Idol The down home boy from North Carolina beat Lauren Alaina from Georgia to be crowned the new American Idol on the season finale last night. The two-hour extravaganza included performances by Judas Priest, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Tim McGraw, Bono, Marc Anthony and more. Click here to see Scotty win.
"Law & Order: SVU" Losing a Cast Member The good news is "Law & Order: SVU" will be back on NBC this fall for a 13th season. The bad news is Christopher Meloni, who plays Detective Elliot Stabler, will not be. NBC has not made an official decision, but the website TVLine.com is reporting contract talks broke down and Meloni will not return to the show. Mariska Hargitay, who plays Meloni's fellow detective on the show, will remain. Her contract was not affected.
"X Factor" Fires a Judge Before The Show Even Airs The show doesn't even debut until September, but someone has already been fired. Simon Cowell's show, "X Factor," got rid of British judge Cheryl Cole. TMZ says she was dumped for a couple of reasons. 1. Producers were concerned her accent was too thick for Americans to understand.
2. She didn't click with fellow judge, Paula Abdul.
Nicole Scherzinger will take her place and join Abdul, Cowell, and L.A. Reid at the judges table.
