Shania Twain Takes On Vegas She had a rough night at the CMT Awards when she fell on stage, but earlier in the day things were going well. Twain made the announcements that she's signed on for a two-year gig at Caesars Palace. It'll start in about 18 months, and tickets are on sale now for those with American Express cards. Everyone else will be able to get tickets June 19th.
Alec Baldwin's Political Aspirations He's always shown an interest in politics, and now actor Alec Baldwin has told the "New York Daily News" he won't rule out running for mayor of New York City. Michael Bloomberg's term ends in 2013, and Baldwin's contract with "30 Rock" ends in 2012. It could be perfect timing.
First Lady Appearing on "iCarly" First Lady Michelle Obama will be making an appearance on the Nickelodeon show "iCarly." She'll play herself, and the episode will be about military families. The show is about a character named Carley Shaw who is the daughter of an Air Force colonel. The episode will air in early 2012.
Conan Concert Series The morning news shows do it, so why can't Conan? "Broadcasting & Cable" is reporting Conan O'Brien will launch the Conan Concert Series June 27th with Ke$ha as the first act. The performances will also be available on teamcoco.com.
Tom Jones Somehow, we're not quite sure how, we got onto the subject of the song "Kiss" by Prince...and it turns out, Tom Jones. His version is just plain cheesy, and you must see it.
