After 15 years, we're down to the last week. July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning. There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business. She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital. It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week. Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet.
"Ugly Betty" Gets Married
Congratulations to America Ferrera! She married her longtime boyfriend Monday night in an "intimate setting with close friends and family," according to her rep. Ferrera met her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, when he cast her in his student film at the University of Southern California.
Charlie Sheen Sitcom in the Works
Radar Online says Charlie Sheen is close to signing a deal for a new sitcom and will be shopping it to the networks. A source says TBS is the front runner and that the Charlie's character will be very much like the one he played on "Two and a Half Men" only racier.
Toy Story 4?
Would you go see another "Toy Story" movie? Probably and it might happen. While the drector of "Toy Story 3" said back in December that there would be more "Toy Story" animated shorts and no necessarily a movie, Tom Hanks is saying different. Hanks told CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" that he believes a fourth film is already in the works saying, "I understand it's happening and if it is, I hope they'll hire me again."
Tracy Morgan In Trouble Again
First he offended the gay community, and now it looks like comedian/actor Tracy Morgan has offended a new segment of the population. In his first performance since his apology tour, Trace went off on a tangent about "retarded kids" and "cripples." Now The Arc, a nonprofit advocacy group that serves young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, wants an apology.
"Newsweek" Brings Back Ghost of Princess Diana
Some say it's in bad taste, some says it's a publicity stunt, and some says it's brilliant. The cover of the latest "Newsweek" cover features a computer-aged Diana as she might look if she were still alive today. And in the photo, she's walking with Kate Middleton. To read the article, click here.
