John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Balloon Boy Balloon Up for Auction
Remember back in 2009 when that silver balloon was flying through the air and everyone thought there was a little boy in it?  Turns out it was all a hoax, but now you can own the balloon for yourself.  Richard Heene, the father of the "missing" boy, has put the homemade balloon up for auction for $1-million.  He says it's for tsunami relief in Japan, and he's getting nothing out of it.

There May Be Four "Hunger Games" Movies
It seems to be the trend in movies these days.  When making films from popular book series, split the last book into two movies. They did it with Harry Potter and they're doing it with Twilight.  Now Deadline.com is reporting that's what will happen with "The Hunger Games."  No word on exactly which of the three books would be split into two films.  Casting so far is great with Jennifer Lawrence, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Wood Harrelson, and Donald Sutherland.
