John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Christopher Schwarzenegger Goes Home from Hospital
Arnold and Maria's son Christopher has gone home from the hospital after being in a for a week.  A scary surfing accident left him with a collapsed lung and several broken bones.

Gene Simmons Pops the Question for His Reality Show
Tuesday night on "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" Gene popped the question to his long-time love Shannon Tweed.  But even though it seemed spontaneous on the show, it turns out the proposal was taped "months ago" according to a source on  No word on whether Tweed will say yes.  Recently she told People that she'd moved out of their home and there was a "slim chance" of them getting back together.

Walmart Offers Video Streaming
If you're still peeved about the Netflix price increase, now you have another option.  Walmart is now streaming movies at  You'll be able to stream movies the same day they come out on DVD, and according to Walmart you'll be able to do it on almost any device with internet access.  Prices for rentals will range from $1 to $5.99, and purchases will start at $4.99.

She came in third on the last season of "American Idol", and now she's signed to Interscope Records.  A rep from the label says she's working on a debut album right now. 

Amy Winehouse Record Sales Soar After Her Death
It happens any time a celebrity muscian dies...sales of their records go up.  The same thing has happened in the wake of Amy Winehouse's death.  In the four days since her death, Neilsen SoundScan estimates sales at 50,000.
