John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Amy Winehouse Funeral Today
27-year-old Amy Winehouse will be laid to rest today in a private funeral attended by her family and close friends, according to a spokesman for Winehouse.  Monday's autopsy did not reveal a cuase of death.  It will be another 2-4 weeks before police will receive results of further toxicology tests.

J-Lo Probably Coming Back to "Idol"
People.com says Jennifer Lopez is very close to signing a deal to return as a judge of the next season of "American Idol."  No official annoncement has been made.  The next season of the show starts in January. 

Special Episode of Jimmy Kimmel Tomorrow
Director Jon Favreau is directing a special episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" tomorrow night.  Favreau directed the "Iron Man" movies, but his appearance is to promote his latest flick, "Cowboys and Aliens."  All week on Kimmel's show, stars of the film will guest on the show including Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, and Olivia Wilde.

Jesse James Engagement Off
Looks like Jesse James and Kat Von D won't be getting married afterall.  The couple, who got engaged in January, were to be married this summer, but they are no longer together.  Kat tweeted, "I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family, and myself, thats all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that."
