"Transformers" Rules the Box Office Again
It's two weeks in a row at number one for the latest in the "Transformers" franchise. "Dark of the Moon" made $47-million over the weekend keeping "Horrible Bosses" out of the top spot in its opening weekend. "Bosses" still managed $28.1-million followed by "Zookeeper" with $15.2-million.
Baby Girl for Victoria Beckham
Congrats to David and Victoria Beckham. They welcomed their first daughter Sunday morning in Los Angeles. Harper Seven Beckham weighed in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and is their fourth child.
Baby Boy for Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson is a mommy again. "Us Weekly" says Hudson and her fiance Matt Bellamy welcomed the new addition Saturday in L.A. No word on a name yet.
Oprah Oscar Host?
The "Chicago Sun-Times" is reporting Oprah may host the next Oscar Awards ceremony. The newspaper says she's a favored candidate, although no one is commenting. If she does host, Oprah would be only the third solo female host joining past hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Ellen DeGeneres.
Shaq Joing the TNT Gang
He may have retired from playing basketball, but Shaq isn't resting too long. CNBC's Darren Rovell tweeted yesterday that Shaq will soon work for TNT as part of the "Inside the NBA" team with Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson. TNT is not confirming though. They told "USA Today" they "have nothing in place at this time."
Sneak Peek of "Dallas" Tonight
The 80's megahit "Dallas" returns next year on TNT, but you can get a sneak preview tonight. "Entertainment Weekly" says TNT will have a preview of the pilot episode tonight during the season premieres of "The Closer" and "Rizzoli & Isles."
