You can hear us weekdays 6am - 10am on 104.5 WFMB in Springfield. John Spalding...has been on the radio in Springfield for over 30 years. John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Oscar Nominations The Academy Award Nominations were announced this morning, and "The King's Speech" was the top nominee with 12 including Best Picture and acting nominations for Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, and Geoffrey Rush. Also nominated for Best Picture: "Black Swan", "The Fighter", "Inception", "The Kids Are Alright", "127 Hours", "The Social Network", "Toy Story 3", "True Grit", and "Winter's Bone". The awards will be handed out February 27th with Anne Hathaway and James Franco hosting.
Razzie Nominations Every year, one day before the Oscar nominations, the Razzie Award nominations are announced. This year, the top nominees for the Golden Raspberry Awards were "Eclipse" of the Twilight Saga and "The Last Airbender". Each film received 9 nominations including Worst Picture. Jessica Alba has the distinction of being nominated as Worst Supporting Actress for four different films. The Razzies will be presented the night before the Oscars, February 25th.
Oprah's Big Bombshell Oprah dropped her big news yesterday. She has a half sister she didn't even know existed until last November. Oprah's mother, Vernita Lee, had the child and gave the child up for adoption in 1963. Oprah was living with her father and never even knew her mother had been pregnant. The half-sister, Patricia, was raised in the foster care systema and adopted at age 7. To see the announcement, click here.
It's Official From The NFL We all knew it, but now the NFL has officially announced it. Christina Aguilera will sing the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl. Aguilera has performed during halftime of the Super Bowl back in 2000, but she's never performed the National Anthem.
More Sponsors Dump MTV's "Skins" Add Subway and Schick to the list of sponsors who have pulled their advertising from the controversial MTV show "Skins". Those behind the show say they don't understand why companies are abandoning the program.
