John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Now Here's an Interesting Idea...
Simon Cowell tweeted an interesting idea the other day suggesting a three-way contest between the winners of "X Factor," "American Idol," and "The Voice."  I think it's a great idea, and I would tune in to watch it.  However the producer of "Idol," Nigel Lythgoe, doesn't seem to think it would be too much of a competition.  Lythgoe tweeted that the "Idol" winner would already be a star by then.

Cashing In On Whitney Houston's Death
If you missed the funeral of Whitney Houston last Saturday, you may be able to buy it soon.  TMZ is reporting the family of Houston has struck a deal to sell the video of the ceremony to "help maximize" the estate for the benefit of Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina.
And The Associated Press reports a dress and earrings Houston wore in "The Bodyguard" will be up for auction next month.
