John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Charlie Sheen's Parents Trying To Take Over
As Charlie Sheen sits in a rehab center, Radar Online reports his parents are trying to take control of their son's affairs.  Martin and Janet Sheen may ask a judge to grant them guardianship over him.  A source says, "Martin and Janet know that it's highly unlikely their [conservatorship] petition would be granted, but they are trying to do whatever possible to save Charlie's life."

Apparently Ricky Gervais Has NOT Been Asked To Host The Golden Globes Again
Yesterday it was widely reported that Ricky Gervais had been asked to host the Golden Globes again.  Apparently that's no"t true.  Phil Berk, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Assoication" told "The Hollywood Reporter", "We have not asked him to come back.  Nice try, Ricky."  Gervais had written on his blog that organizers had asked him to "consider a third year" as host.  Later he clarified that he was talking to an exec from NBC, which aired the show.  He said, "At no point did I talk to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.  I'm absolutely sure they don't want me back."

"The Kennedys" Will Air
"The Kennedys" mini-series, originally produced to air on the History Channel, will finally air.  Reels Chanel has agreen to air it starting April 3rd.  Greg Kinnear stars as John F. Kennedy and Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy.
