It was a big week on Jeopardy with a battle between man and machine, and the IBM super computer "Watson" won the contest winning a million dollars for charity in the process.Ken Jennings finished in second place and Brad Rutter finished third. Ratings this week for Jeopardy have been the best in more than five years.
Charlie Sheen Can't Stop Calling Dan Patrick
Wednesday Charlie Sheen called Dan Patrick again, and this time he dished out some advice to Lindsay Lohan. Sheen said Lohan needs to work on her "impulse control" in referring to her charge of stealing a necklace.
Letterman Bamboozled
It all started when David Letterman made a Lindsay Lohan joke in his a top ten list last week. That's when the show received a call from a mystery friend of Lindsay saying she loved the joke and wanted to appear on the show. Letterman promoted the appearance, and that's when the show learned that the person who booked Lohan was only posing as a friend and wasn't authorized. So the show announced the Lohan appearance wouldn't be happening, and that's when Lindsay's father, Michael, announced to TMZ that HE was the one who scheduled the appearance and that Lindsay "knew full well" about it despite her denials.
Vick Dumps Oprah
It was widely reported that Michael Vick would be doing his first major interview since getting out of prison with Oprah later this month. Now TMZ is reporting that Vick has pulled out of the interview saying "after careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22nd." He expressed the desire to sit down with her in the future.
Congrats to Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba is expanding her family. The actress announced on her Facebook page Wednesday that she and her husband are expecting their second baby. They already have one daughter, Honor, who is two-and-a-half years old.
