"CSI" Say Bye to Helgenberger
There are a lot of changes coming to "CSI." Producers have already announced Ted Danson will be added as a cast member and will lend a less serious tone to the show. Now Marg Helgenberger has cofirmed she will leave the show at the end of the upcoming season. The 12th and final season for Helgenberger begins September 21st.
Jerry Lewis Out as Host of MDA Telethon
A few months ago Jerry Lewis announced that the upcoming MDA Telethon would be his last, but yesterday the Muscular Dystrophy Assocation had something different to say. The MDA announced Wednesday that Lewis will not host the upcoming September telethon, and he will no longer serve as the national chairman of MDA. No reason was given for the sudden announcement, and Jerry Lewis has not commented.
Alec Baldwin to Host SNL Again
Alec Baldwin will set a new record when he opens the 37th season fo "Saturday Night Live" as host this fall. It will be Baldwin's 16th time as host. He will surpass Steve Martin, who currently holds the record.
