John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

Kate Winslet Is A Hero Oscar winning actress Kate Winslet can add hero to her resume. Winslet and her family were staying at in the Caribbean at the home of Richard Branson when lightning sparked a fire that spread through the home overnight. Branson thanked Winslet on his blog for helping to save his 90-year-old mother saying, "Many thanks to Kate Winslet for helping to carry my 90-year-old mum out of the main house to safety wondering when a director was going to shout cut!" There were about 20 people in the building, and everyone was unharmed.
David Letterman Jokes About Death Threat David Letterman doesn't seem to be worried about the extremists that are calling for his death. He returned to his show last night for the first time since the threats were made.
23rd Season "Survivor" Contestants Announced 16 men and women are heading to the South Pacific for the latest season of "Survivor." One of those contestants is country singer Whitney Duncan. The cast was announced yesterday and will include two former contestants that have yet to be named. The 23rd season premieres September 14th at 7pm.
Ryan Gosling Breaks Up A Fight There were a couple of guys fighting in the middle of an intersection in New York City recently, so naturally there were some folks shooting video with their phones. They didn't expect to catch actor Ryan Gosling on the video! Gosling jumped in the middlle of the fight trying to break it up. Listen to the girls as they realize who they are filming.
