John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry! 
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.

Jessica Simpson Signs On with Weight Watchers
She hasn't even had the baby yet, and she's already making plans to lose the baby weight.  Simpson has confirmed she has signed a $3-million deal with the company to lose weight after the baby is born.

American May Yank "30 Rock" From Flights
The Alec Baldwin/American Airlines saga continues.  Over the weekend Baldwin made a surprise appearance on "SNL" in character as Captain Steve Rogers, and it got a good laugh.  But now American Airlines may have the last word.  E! online is reporting the airline's Flight Attendants Union is thinking of pulling episodes of "30 Rock" from its in-flight entertainment lineup.  No decision has been made yet.

It's a "Mary Tyler Moore" Reunnion...Sort Of
Betty White has already had a reunion with Mary Tyler Moore on "Hot in Cleveland," and now it looks like she'll be reunited with another cast member from the show.  Ed Asner will appear in an episode of "Hot in Cleveland" that will air next summer.  No word on the role he'll play, but they have to make some kind of reference to Lou Grant and Sue Ann Nivens!

Richard Hatch Released from Prison...Again
Survivor season 1 winner, Richard Hatch, has served his time.  Hatch was released from prison after serving seven months for again failing to pay taxes on his $1-million prize for winning "Survivor."
