John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

Katy Perry Isn't Having the Best Week
First there's news that she and John Mayer have ended their relationship.  A source tells "People" that after seven months of dating they've called it quits.  Then her ex-husband, Russell Brand, had some less than kind things to say in a London interview on Monday.  Perry and Brand were married in 2010 and were divorced in just over a year.  Brand gave some advice to single men saying to think of marriage as nothing but a "sacred, 14-month arrangement."

"Conan" Ranked #1 in Late Night for Sales Bumps
You know why celebs make the late night talk show promote their projects and increase sales.  But which late night show helps sell the most?  Turns out might be Conan O'Brien's show.  In a new study by "Next Big Sound" "Conan" generates the most increases in social media activity.  For example: when an artist goes on "Conan" their searches on Wikipedia go up 175%.  On "Jimmy Fallon" (who came in second) celebs only get a 91% boost.  On Facebook "Conan" generates a 73% bump and Fallon just 31%.
