John & Michele in the Morning

After 15 years, we're down to the last week.  July 12, 2013 will be the last show for John & Michele in the Morning.  There's nothing scandalous to report...sorry!
John will continue his reign as Springfield's morning show king, but he'll just be doing it with someone new.
Michele is moving on to a new phase of her career in the radio business.  She'll still be in Springfield and still with Neuhoff Media, however instead of being on the air she's going to be focusing on all things digital.  It's been a great 15 years, and John & Michele plan to spend this last week reminiscing with guests and playing some of the best moments of the past.
Michele would LOVE to hear from you this week.  Write on the John & Michele Facebook page, email her, or tweet

No Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes :(
Boo hoo!  I always enjoyed seeing what Ricky Gervais was going to say at the Golden Globes for the last three years, but this year he'll be a no show.  Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler have been tapped to host the January 13th ceremony on NBC.

"X Factor" Gets a Kardashian Host
Khloe Kardashian will be joining "X Factor" has a co-host.  E! has confirmed the news that she will be part of a pair once the show starts airing live shows.  No confirmation on who her co-host will be, but Mario Lopez is the rumored pick.

"Walking Dead" Season 3 Premiere Ratings Through the Roof
Just when you thought "The Walking Dead" couldn't get any bigger, it does.  The season premiere Sunday on AMC pulled in almost 11-million viewers...and that was just for the first airing.  If you add in the additional broadcasts that ran Sunday night the show had over 15-million viewers Sunday night.  The numbers will get even bigger when the DVR recordings are added in. These numbers are even more impressive when you remember that Dish Network customers do not get AMC.  However the network offered a free online stream of the show do Dish subscribers.  Unfortunately it crashed due to overwhelming traffic.

Most DVR'd Shows
So which shows are the ones that people record and watch later?  Zap2It.com says "Revolution" is number one in that category.  It's followed by "Modern Family" and "The Big Bang Theory."  "Elementary" and "NCIS" round out the top 5.
