John's been doing the morning show on 104.5 WFMB in 1995, and he's been stuck there ever since. Michele MItchell...has been doing the morning show with John since 1998...they are the longest-running morning show in Springfield.

All Star Season of "Dancing with the Stars" Crowns a Winner
It was a great night for Melissa Rycroft...she picked up her first DWTS mirrorball trophy. Previously, she came in third place. In second place it was Shawn Johnson followed by Kelly Monaco.
"Hobbit" Premiering Today in New Zealand
It will be another two weeks before "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" comes to theaters in the U.S., but the world premiere of the film is tonight in New Zealand. It will be interesting to see how the film is received by audiences as director Peter Jackson has filmed it at 48 frames per second versus the normal 24 frames per second. Jackson cites the clarity and smoothness, but it will look different to audiences.
"Two and a Half Men" Star Apologizes for Calling the Show "Filth"
Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake on "Two and a Half Men" has issued an apology after his testimony for a Christian Church went viral. In the video Jones urges people to stop watching the show calling it "filth." Now Jones says he's sorry if his remarks cam across as showing "indifference to" and "disrespect of" his colleagues. He says he never intended to sound unappreciative of what he calls the "extraordinary opportunity" of which he has been blessed.

Lenny Kravitz to Play Marvin Gaye
This could be interesting. "Rolling Stone" says a new biopic of Marvin Gaye is in the works, and Lenny Kravitz is set to play the legend. The film is said to focus on Gaye's struggle with addiction and his attempt to restart his career in the early 1980's. Filming is to start next year.
